Over the years, we’ve hacked more than our fair share of Ikea items including the Ingo table which we turned into a herringbone desk or the Frosta stool which we turned into bedside tables for our guest bedroom.
We keep meaning to buy less Ikea furniture as we think we should be more ‘grown-up’ and buy ‘propper’ furniture but we keep finding ourselves back at the big blue and yellow stores as the design and value for money are just unbeatable. HEMNES
We couldn’t share a list of our favourite Ikea hacks with cane webbing without including our Hemnes dresser, could we? It’s a fairly large piece of furniture but it doesn’t feel chunky at all and the cane webbing adds a lovely lightness to it.
I honestly don’t know how we managed without it as it’s already completely stuffed full of clothes!
