There are so many fun and exciting things to explore when moving into a new home.
We’ve already discovered a completely hidden door that had been wallpapered over in my study, we found a small pond in our garden that’s so overgrown we didn’t even realise it was there and the lady we bought the house off even showed us a secret hiding spot under the floor where the previous owners used to hide people in the war.

I love all of the history of our home but one of my favourite things about living somewhere new is all of the potential, transforming rooms into spaces we love and adding the all-important personal touches that make a house become a home.
For us, hanging pictures and adding art are the two things that really transform any space into somewhere that not only looks better but is more personal, too.
And, with lots of new rooms and even more bare walls to fill, our new Gallerix artwork couldn’t have arrived at a better time.

There’s an almost endless selection of posters to choose from at Gallerix and we couldn’t help being inspired by the location of our new home in the Netherlands. We may only have moved here a couple of months ago but we love living here so much that we couldn’t resist choosing some Dutch inspired art.
Having said that, my favourite one is the William Morris Larkspur Poster that’s over our fireplace. I love the pattern so much and have a feeling there might be a few more William Morris patterns turning up in our home in the future.
The posters and frames were all delivered in one big flat box so there’s no messing around trying to frame a rolled-up poster that seems to have a life of its own. The posters are really thick and feel like they are of amazing quality.

I’m very guilty of buying lovely prints but never getting round to framing and hanging them which is why we ordered our picture frames at Gallerix, too. I love how everything arrives in one go and you can get straight on with framing and hanging your new posters.
The frames have a Crystal clear plexiglass which makes the whole frame super light and we were able to hang all of ours using just one tiny nail making it super quick to get your pictures hung up, too.
I admit that I’d actually planned on hanging most of our lovely new posters in our newly decorated guest bedroom but we hit a few renovation snags and the room is still nowhere near complete.
I may not have planned to hang the posters in our kitchen but I absolutely love how they look in here and have a feeling they are here to stay. If you’d like to see the exact posters we chose, we’ve saved them for you. Just click to be taken to our favourites.

There’s a huge choice of posters at Gallerix but you can also create your own map poster. I obviously couldn’t resist including one of our new hometown but you can enter any city you want and have a personalised map poster made for you!
With Christmas just around the corner, a personalised map poster (or any of the other fabulous prints for that matter) would make a perfect gift.

And, it gets even better as the lovely people over at Gallerix have given me a discount code to share with you so that you can get a whopping 30% off your order.
To get 30% on all posters @gallerix, use my unique code littlehouse30. It expires on 13th December 2021.
There’s such a beautiful range of posters to choose from at Gallerix that I’m sure you’ll find the perfect gift for someone special. Or, even better, why not treat yourself?! With 30% off you’ve really got no excuses!
We love all of our new prints but which one do you like best? Have you already got all of your Christmas gifts sorted? I can never seem to resist buying new art for our home – what’s the one thing you can’t resist?
