Kärcher Wet & Dry Vacuum Cleaner Review

[Ad – This post is in collaboration with Kärcher. This post contains affiliate links. As always, we only recommend products we love and think that you will, too! Read our full disclaimer here.]

With so much building work going on around our home, it’s (sadly) inevitable that we have to clean up, too.

Kärcher MV3 Review

Shortly after we moved in, we broke our vacuum cleaner so ever since buying a new one we’ve been super careful with what we vacuum up.

Needless to say, with so much rubble and dirt around here, it’s more than annoying to have to be so careful and we’d end up sweeping most things by hand. But no longer as we have a fab new Multi-purpose vacuum cleaner thanks to Kärcher.

Kärcher MV3 Review

We love our Kärcher Steam Stick, so we had high expectations when it came to this Vacuum cleaner – luckily we weren’t disappointed.

It’s really lightweight but also heavy-duty and is perfect for anyone doing any DIY or building work. You can vacuum rubble and dust, you can use it to blow dirt from hard to reach areas and you can even vacuum liquids!

Kärcher MV3 Review

My favourite feature is that you can attach it to your power tools and it removes the sawdust directly. All you do is connect your power tool to the socket on the vacuum cleaner and it automatically switches on when you start your tool.

Kärcher MV3 Review

It’s amazing – no more spending hours trying to clean up the mess after cutting or sanding wood.

Kärcher MV3 Review

The Kärcher vacuum cleaner is really hard-wearing and whilst it’s aimed at DIYers, we’ve actually started to use it as a general vacuum cleaner for around the house as it has such great suction and is great at removing day to day dirt.

The design of it is great, too. It has places for all attachments and nozzles so everything is always in one place. Changing the attachments on the Kärcher MV3 is also super easy as they just click into place. If there’s one small thing that could be improved upon, it’s that the power cable is quite short. It’s not a problem when vacuuming rooms, however, it’s a bit short when it comes to going up and down the stairs.

Kärcher MV3 Review

Overall we really love this vacuum cleaner and we’re almost looking forward to autumn so that I can blow the leaves out of our drive. Together with the steam stick, I can safely say that our house has never been cleaner!

How do you hope with the mess during building work? Do you have a favourite cleaning tool?

PS. We’ve been using our Kärcher vacuum cleaner for almost 6 years now and still love it! We use it for all DIY projects and are ruthless with it and even suck up large chunks of rubble but it’s absolutely indestructible. I honestly can’t recommend it highly enough!

In general, vacuums are expensive for a reason: They’re indeed built for the long run, which could work out to be a better value versus replacing one cheaper vacuum after another over many years

We’re ruthless with this vacuum cleaner. We’ve used it almost daily for almost 6 years for general vacuuming but also to suck up everything building work related like brick dust, bits of wood and even rubble. It’s absolutely indestructible and one of the best products we’ve ever used. We highly recommend it and can’t imagine a better value vacuum cleaner.

Great review! We have two garages at my house that we use as storage for industrial furniture and often I spend hours cleaning after we empty it, because we have to prepare it for the next load of dusty items. I was using my normal vacuum for doing this, but after many times I got really frustrated and now I really want to invest in buying a good and strong vacuum that will be used for cleaning only the storage. Thanks for the review! This is an excellent vacuum cleaner! I hope that it will help me stop being the crazy vacuuming lady – https://www.thinglink.com/scene/732235593135685633.

Thanks Teresa! We love our vacuum cleaner and actually now use it more than our every day (much more expensive) one. We’ve bashed it around so much and cleaned so much dirt and rubble with it, but it still does the job amazingly well!

With all the building work done perfectly by yourself, I have no doubt that you will make the cleaning after it with the same perfection. It looks like a very helpful machine and I am amazed it can even vacuum liquids. Sounds fantastic. I am sure that the cleaning is a way easier with this vacuum cleaner. Happy vacuuming ;)

It’s already come in really useful as we had a bit of a water related accident in our cellar. There was a huge puddle (about 5l) and we just vacuumed it up. Honestly don’t know what we would have done without it!

Having a good vacuum cleaner makes life so much easier. I just got a new one, and I love it. Those shop vacs are indispensable for DIY and disaster clean ups!

I totally agree. With the amount of mess we always seem to make having a good vacuum cleaner is definitely a must!

This looks so useful! And love the poses ;)
We also broke our first vacuum (and sadly another 3 since) trying to suck up rubble. Lesson now well and truly learned!!

Yep, that sounds like a familiar lesson! We’ve really been putting this one through it’s paces and sofar it’s doing brilliantly! If only we’d know about it when we first moved in!
