As you may have figured out by now, we love being organised!
My idea of a fun day is sorting out and tiding cupboards or shopping for even more notebooks (I’m currently totally in love with the colourful Leuchtturm ones).
So, having recently shared how we schedule and plan our renovation projects in the house, we thought we’d also share how we keep on top of our day-to-day appointments and general stuff we need to remember.

Yep, yet another totally high tech solution – a piece of paper in a frame! We do of course have a few additional ways of keeping track of things, but this one works great as a way of keeping an overview of the things we need doing throughout the month.

This DIY whiteboard couldn’t be easier to make. All you do is design a perpetual calendar, frame one you already have or print the template that we used (which you can download here) and then stick it in in a frame. Done.

We use a whiteboard pen (this is the one that we have) to write on the glass. It works amazingly well and really does wipe off easily.

Something that I love most about this calendar, is the way that you can easily move and change appointments and dates around – just wipe and rewrite. It’s so easy to keep it neat, tidy and up to date.
How do you keep on top of your to-do list? Do you use a whiteboard, a paper diary or do you prefer to keep an online calendar?
I am totally making this! thank you! :)
Glad you like it, Amy! I still use the one I made every day.

I did something similar with an old frame I found at a thrift store. I used black poster board and cut squares from a variety of paint sample strips for my boxes. The dry erase marker works great and the large calendar sits in our command center so everyone knows what is going on when. I love your headings – super cute.
Great minds obviously think alike! ;) Love the idea of a whiteboard command centre – things always seem easier if everyone knows what they should be doing.

This is my sort of organisation! Currently I use my iphone/ipad and have it all on there (colour coded of course) and share it with the hubby. Works well but perhaps I have an excuse to use this lovely one for when house renovations are in full swing!
Glad you like it, Rose! We’ve tried so many digital versions of keeping track of our to-do list (and we still do), but this works best for us a quick monthly overview type things.

It seems nothing happens on Mondays at the Little House On the Corner ;)
I love the idea… I’m going to check if I can erase easily on an old glass frame I have.
Haha, I wish! Glad you like the idea, don’t know how we ever lived without it! ;)
