Beautiful Bathrooms (That We Couldn’t Resist)

  • Facebook
  • Twitter

[Ad – This post is in collaboration with CP Hart. All opinions and thoughts are of course our own! ]

One of our favourite brands is CP Hart, so when we were invited to check out and review their new website (spoiler: it’s gorgeous), we of course jumped at the chance. After all, who doesn’t love looking at pretty pictures of beautiful bathrooms?

With a new bathroom still at the top of our wish list, it seemed like a great chance to check out what our options are, too. Choosing a new bathroom is really something that you have to get right the first time round, after all, replacing a bathroom isn’t exactly a cheap thing to do and you really want to make sure that you consider your choices carefully.

As you’d expect from CP Hart, they have a great range of products. They not only have what feels like hundreds of different washbasins and toilets to choose from, but you can also find all of the little items that you’ll need to create a perfectly functional bathroom space, too. After all, you can have the nicest bathroom in the world but it’s not much use if you don’t have a hook to hang your towel on, radiators to keep you warm and a toilet brush to … well, you know what that’s for!

As pretty as their new website is, it’s also really functional, too. You can search by brand or product type, all of the showrooms are listed so it’s easy to find one near you and if you’re looking for some ideas you can check out our favourite part of the website which is the inspiration section.

In the inspiration section there are of course loads of inspirational images and brochures, but for us the best part is that it has a section where you can create your own moodboard. For us this was a great place to add all of the products that we liked and see them together in one place. This way you can see what you still need to choose, but also see if the style of the items you’ve chosen actually work together.

Something we also love, is that when you’ve chosen a product, the website shows you other items that match your product as well as a selection of required items that you will need to purchase, too.

We’re definitely the kind of people who do a lot of research before we even visit a showroom, so something we also really like on the new CP Hart website are the buying guides. They give you all the information you need on different types of washbasins, toilets etc. and make it really easy to know what kind of product you need for your space.

If you need any help, they have an online chat or prefer to have things planned for you, they offer a design service. As well as the retail consumer section, the CP Hart website now also includes a trade section where trade people can store their favourite products and access trade discounts etc.

Overall we really like the new CP Hart website and think that it’s a great place to get inspired and plan your new bathroom. If anything, we actually got a bit too inspired and ended up buying a new toilet and flush plate! (the ones on our moodboard in case you’re wondering)

What do you think of the new CP Hart website?

PS. There’s a sale on at the moment, so a great time to grab a bargain!

I hadn’t heard of CP Hart but I have to say that I agree with you that their bathrooms look stunning.

We’re planning our bathroom remodel for sometime next year, with luck.

I love the wall hung loo… looks great! And easy to clean under too.

The big debate though is about whether we should replace the bathtub with a shower – but hubbie (and friend) think that future buyers with kids would prefer a tub.

But then my argument is – it’s a small bathroom, why not make it more spacious and we never use the tub anyway, plus it’s such a waste of water… when eventually selling we could put a kiddie tub in there to indicate how they could be bathed… what do you think?

We’ve had the exact same discussion! For us a shower would be perfect, but we already know that we’re not going to stay in this house for ever and we know that not having a bathtub can put off buyers (I heard that it can even devalue a house)- especially ones with children.
We’ve decided to leave the tub for that reason (and we will hopefully have a shower in our loft conversion), but having said that it’s all about doing what’s right for you in your home. When it comes to selling your house, I guess you’re never going to make everyone happy anyway, so at least make your home right for you….
      It’s a difficult decission and I probably wasn’t much help! ;)
      Good luck!

        Hi,
Lovely to see further progress on your beautiful house, I commented a long time ago about us having the log burner and how wonderful it is in what was our freezing cold( in the winter) Edwardian home.
We have gone to the bathroom stage on our house this year, it did cost us quite a bit, but we did get everything in it that we wanted and the bathroom isn’t that big to start with! My hubby didn’t want a bath but my thoughts were, it’s would be harder to sell in the future without one, we did get one in but went to a slightly smaller double ended cast iron one instead of a full size one, we also built in a wet room shower, with top wet room wall and floor protection between the walls and tiles to make sure no leaks, this was pricey but peace of mind to us. We used glass blocks in some of a stud wall that we had put up instead of a glass screen, I absolutely love it, so easy to clean, getting back to your blog, the one thing we didn’t factor in was were to hang a towel! Floor to ceiling tiles! So a hook on the door it was.
Can send pics if you wanted. Can’t wait to see yours.
Also had to endure a full rewire this year, project garden this month.

Thank you for taking the time to comment again Pam! Sounds like your bathroom has turned our great & we’d love to see some photos. We’re thinking that we’ll install a small double ended cast iron bath, too! Can’t wait till we can finally start ripping up our bathroom.
