We’re busy DIYing and finishing a few things at the moment, so rather than showing you half finished projects, we thought we’d share a recent trip we took with you. We both love to travel, so it was probably inevitable that we’d share something travel related with you sooner or later.
Last August bank holiday, we hopped on a plane to Berlin for a few days.
We’re the kind of people that usually tick every sightseeing box but this time we took a more relaxed approach and spent a lot of time just soaking up the flair and buzz of the city.
Because we couldn’t quite shake the habit of doing touristy things, we booked ourselves a 4 hour Segway tour through Berlin. It was the only wet day while we were there, but we still had the most fun – ever! Not only did we get to see lots of Berlin’s sights, we also got to whizz around the city on the – surprisingly fast – Segways.
There is loads to see and do in Berlin and while we saw loads of sights we also managed to spend lots of time relaxing and sampling the local cuisine. We had loads of sunny weather and in between taking in the sights, we also spent a lot of time chilling in Berlin’s Beergardens.
Berlin is an amazing city and we can’t wait to go back soon!
Have you ever been to Berlin? What’s your favorite city? Is there anywhere you’d recommend for our next city trip?
